all you gave meFidgeting, cold, sweating hands     placed sporadically on knees cloaked in denim   staring at the paisley on the worn chair        sitting on the putrid, stained carpet   darting eyes flickering about      peeling wallpaper and the sickening scent of fear         stupid, snide, sarcastic snaps   prodding questions twisting like sewing needles       entwining intestines    awaiting your turn to puke out your soul       &n all you gave me

drowned in only the best.   I am rendered blind.  
 
A sick tea party.   Drinking the scalding brews  out of shattered cups.   
Tattered tuxedos hang limply.   Ties soaked in the liquids  characteristic of hospital rooms.   
Whispers and chuckles echo.   Mad banter reach your ears  and flood your skull.   
You pass a glance.   She gives a wink to you in her soft, flattering dress,  and melts into her seat.   
Shuffling and reaching.   The smell of scones wafting through the air,  accompanied by the odor of antiseptic.    drowned in only the best.

of not a lot,  but I know a lot of things.  or I think I do.  but there are a few  I'm certain of.  and I know  that tonight,   
I want nothing more   
than spend the night  under the stars,  with your hand  laced into mine,  entwined l this is her day.
